A Constitution- I like this song, probably cuz' I'm a huge vagabond fan. Kinda reminds me of "startrip overload" of A Huge Fan of Life only without the explosive solo.

Substitute- Part of the intro reminds me of the main riff to "ready to fly" I don't know why. Cool verse riff. Good vox.

Are You Blind- Intro riff kinda reminds me of haunted house music.
The harmonies during the solo are cool.

Golden Opportunity- The intro and main riff Reminds me of the riff during the bridge of "My Religion". Good chorus.

Something Special- Scary intro riff! Fair vocals.

Now we're Talkin- If you don't LOL at this song, you are not a very witty person, or else you hate the beatles.( The only band my dad listens to I like.)

Wild Life- I LOVE THIS SONG!

Fountain of Love- This is one of the few songs on here I don't like even mildly.

Can't Go on without- Glad to see Diesel doing another drum intro. Anybody else get the six string machine gun joke? Great vocals(almost THish) that remind me of an earlier Shy song I heard(can't remember it's name). Nice Lyrics too!

2 seconds away- The only bit of machine gun here is in the outro solo. Crazy solos! Good vocals.

GIVE THIS ALBUM A CHANCE!

I was not very into fountain of love when I start to listen to the cd, but I think the riff on the first chorus, with that high guitar on top, is so great, so I have listen very many time to this song, and now its groving.

I think someone give this album a chance, coz it climbed on VG lista today. from 31 to 22 Very Happy ....and still climbing Question Lets hope many people from Lerkendal going out and buy this cd after hearing it, and then..... then we're talking.

Kindof weird how people have such specific expectations and then get wrapped around the axle when they are given the unexpected. Admittedly, I thought of something a bit different before The New Territory was released, but instead of a tailspin, it was really a pleasant surprise. I don't find it predictable or rote (or even criminally negligent), but to me, it is refreshing and fun, and unconstrained by preconceived ideas, definitely worth playing repeatedly. I think our friend Freakie (whatever nick you are using Dearest Dennis, you'll always be my LeFreakie friend!) illustrated it best in his thoughtful and articulate review on the TNT forum: What more could I add to that? Yeah, I am going to always miss the shine of the Tekro/Harnell combination, but this is where it is now, today, The New Territory indeed. The new cd is a departure that makes sense to me, so I guess maybe that means I am just warped enough to get it?

Finally, I would say the samples don't do justice to the actual songs, because you don't really 'get it' from the samples. I guess I've said enough. ;-)

You couldn't have been more bang on jagg. There are so many things hidden high and low in the mix, so anything but uncompressed format would do this record justice.

Besides Milestone River which is just a rather lovely track, Fountain of Love has this interesting vibe that I keep wanting to hear: It's like a piece of origami you just want to figure out (but I haven't, so I'll just keep listening).

The pink text is unreadable for my old eyes, but I solve the problem by marking the text.

In legible text, I will add Saxon747 has been the recipient of a private message subsequent to his plea.

And now back to my regular form, Thank you Shredder, you are, as always, an Extraordinary Gentleman.

I think TNTFan101 wrote a nice and fair review btw. If there was one surprise on this cd for me, it was the uncharacteristic "June". For my own reasons, this song immediately was less favored, but again, having been playing the cd repeatedly, it's grown familiar and no longer such a throw. And like I said, the iPod scramble reset the order... It sets up "...MR/LP/J..." at the midpoint. That being said, I won't expect a full album of "syrupy" crooners next time but hope to again be pleasantly surprised.

Well, first off... it is actually "violet" text, and second, in it's native form on this gray background, screen brightness and contrast settings on your monitor impact how much difficulty/burning your eyes may suffer, and well... I just happen to love this color ;-)
