By the way Halo 3 hits stores on Sept.24 or 25.
My son is already bugging me about it. I don't think it would be appropriate for a 7 yr old.

It actually releases on the 25th but the video game stores are doing staying open til midnight on the 24th for the hardcore gamers...you know, I never really understood the appeal of the Halo games.

OK, been there, done that, listened to it and is absolutely gobsmacked. Fantastic performance from everyone involved. Ronni on guitar, some wicked fidler, the Silver Boys Choir and Breed. It was a journey in the musical word of Halo, with melodic themes and passages, giving everyone time and space to shine. Breed did the heavy intermessos, Ronni, the percussionist, the fidler and keyboard player did the mellow parts, and the far out things.

I've rarely seen Ronni so happy and attentive on stage. He was thoroughly enjoying himself, and said afterwards that it had been a great experience. The duels with the fidler was amazing. The church was choked full. The visual effects inside were stunning, and completed the experience perfectly.

It was a once in a life-time event, and it was well worth the trip.

I have a few sound clips from my mobile phone, but they aren't of the best quality. I'll have a listen, and we'll see. Speaking of see, there should be a few pictures as well - again with mobile phone. I'll have a look and ... see...

Really cool thing to play music for Halo!

After listening through my soundclips from the concert, I didn't find anything that had the qualities I was looking for. None of them really captured what this was all about, and the sound quality on my mobile phone simply wasn't up for the job.

There were someone there filming the whole concert, with at least 3-4 cameras. Maybe something will be released later, but I don't know anything about it, and nor does Ronni. I'll try to find out more info about who it was...
