-My best Christmas memory? That must have been in 1973, when I got glass fiber skis from my grandfather. Elan. They were possibly not the right color - they where sort of mint green. But they where glass fiber and in the 70s we weren't as spoiled as the kids are today, so that was huge for me. These days gifts just go in and out, and maybe there isn't such a deep appreciation anymore.
