Desperate Night

In the spirit of all the recent activity--and Sonatafan's generous contribution of tabs--I thought I'd contribute something.

Desperate Night has easily got to be one of the coolest and heaviest rhythms/riffs that Ronni has ever written: very syncopated. I haven't done this tab thing in a while, so I'm not sure if I got all the details in, but this is a good springboard anyhow. The verses are mostly just variations on this riffing. Ronni has always been very good at shuffling up the rhythms and accents of his riffs to get the most mileage out of them in a song. Anyway, if there are any mistakes, please let me know and I'll make corrections. I'm a far cry from perfect, and so are my ears!! Very Happy (And I'm still sick...darnit!) Sad

BTW, tab not divided into even measures, but rather divided into sub-riffs/sections (or whatever you want to call them) to make learning them easier). You can get the rhythm, timing, etc. by listening to the song.

It looks great! Thank you Smile

I'm thinking of doing Ready To Leave, if I only could get some sparetime.
It's much easier to do something like that while having vacation. Damn that school.

Ready To Leave is such an awesome song. Easily one of the best on KOTNT...and what a cool solo.

Desperate Night is my favourite TNT song. I have always wanted to hear this song live, and this summer I have heard it 15 times. The first time in Haugesund, during the soundcheck was a memorable moment.

Bajas, I bet it was! You're one of the lucky ones. It would take plane tickets, hosts, hotels, passports, and all kinds of other details for me to see it performed live just once! (So, if anyone wants to share/trade any videos! Very Happy ) It's an amazing song, and very definitive of early TNT. I thought it was awesome when I read they were adding it back into the setlist. You guys got quite a treat!

That's tragic! Sometimes things are beyond our control. At least you're in the right region.
