(Very) arguably everyone's TNT favorite!! Very Happy A few of the riffs I dig off of The New Territory...

Code:
Are You Blind? riff:
--------------------------------
--------------------------------
-------0-5~---------------------
-0-7-5-------7-0-5~-------------
---------------------7-0-3------
---------------------------5----

------------------------------
------------------------------
-------0-5--------------------
-0-7-5-----7-0-5--------------
-----------------7-0-3b/------
-------------------------5----

Substitute riff:
------------------------
------------------------
------------------------
----5-------------------
-/7---7-0---5-----------
|----------7---7-0-3-3---|(repeat)

Substitute "middle eight":
---------------
---------------
---------------
-----7---------
-/9----9-7-9---
---------------

----------------
----------------
----------------
----7-------7---
-/9---9-0-9-----
|----------------|(repeat a whole mess o' times)

then...
----------------------
----------------------
----------------------
----------------------
-/9--9--7--7-7-9--9---
----------------------

and back to...
----------------
----------------
----------------
----7-------7---
-/9---9-0-9-----
|----------------|(repeat)

then into main riff again...
------------------------
------------------------
------------------------
----5-------------------
-/7---7-0---5-----------
|----------7---7-0-3-3---|(repeat)

Something Special (main riff):
-------------------------
-------------------------
-9-//-8-//-7-//-7-5------
-7-//-7-//-7-//-7-5-7----
--------------------7----
-------------------------

// means repeat chord (you can figure out the rhythm by listening to the song!)
b/ bend note (let your ear guide you)
~  vibrato note
/  slide into note

There's much more from this album, but this is the extent of my typing ambitions right now. I've worked out the backing and most of the chromatic melody from A Constitution's solo section, but I'm still a little "iffy" on some of it (because of all the slurs). Very killer solo! Weirdest since Wisdom.

I ignore most of the harmonies and embellishments, and usually just worry about the meat of the riff/idea. I've returned to working on The Letter again, and that just has so many harmonies and layers to it, so I just listen for the heart of it, and I don't worry too much about the rest. It gets too crazy. I figure, "what would you need to know to play it live?" and then go with that.

For A Constitution, I'm working on the core backing riff and just the main solo over the top, rather than the harmonies and whatnot. If I ever get desperate, I'll just stick a harmonizer/pitch shifter on, but he doesn't do that on the YouTube clip, so why worry? He's not playing all those details live, and it still sounds great. Look at the difference between the studio version of Black Butterfly and the live version from the dvd. Parts from the studio version are combined into a playable riff. Mr. Tekrø likes to overdub a lot when recording, but you have to have a working live version of some of those riffs too.
