Hey Svartatosten you asked how the tapping bit went at the begining of the 10,000 lovers live solo went.

I started a new thread as the machine one was getting a bit long. Maybe in this one we can all help each other work stuff out.

I have worked it out I think!

Bend 7th fret on G string up a full tone and hold. (Use 3rd finger)

Lightly tap 19th fret of G string to get the harmonic ringing.

Release the bend back down slowly to normal pitch (still with the harmonic ringing.

Then pull off to the 5th fret (using 1st finger) and at exactly the same time
tap the 15th fret of the G string to get the harmonic again.

Then the next note is the natural harmonic on the 5th fret of the G string with Whammy.

If it dosent make sense I'll do another video.

Cheers mate

Neil

It would be great if we could all help each other with videos.

Really good idea!

I am such a lazy guitarist!!! Rolling Eyes If I have stuff to work out, it pushes me to practise and stretch myself.

At the moment I have an infection in the finger I use to hold my pick with.
I got something in it so I am out of action for a couple more days till is gets better. It sooo annoying because you have really inspired me to play more again Evil or Very Mad

I can still play but it hurts!! All say, " ahhhhhh " Surprised

I would love to see some videos of other people playing.

At the moment I need to work out the last couple of phrases before the tremelo picking part of the 10,000 lovers solo.

Anyone know how to play it, please.
I'll start working on it myself soon but if anyone else knows I would apprieciate the help.

Thanks
Neil

Hello mate

My finger was better today so I have made an attempt at the 10,000 lovers solo. I have done the live one. Its not very accurate but I have tried my best.
